May round up!

This month has been wild!! Finally the weather is letting us all get out and about a bit more and finally events are going ahead!

I kicked off the month visiting family in Sardinia (and even got a hail storm over there!! Bloody weather!) and had a super lovely chilled week soaking up some sun (when it finally did arrive!), chilling by the pool, swimming in the sea and catching up on some reading! (The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo, the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard and Her Majesty's Royal Coven by Juno Dawson in case you are interested)

Then it was back and straight into Badminton fun times!! I went along with Sponsored Rider Maddie to the grassroutes day on the Wednesday and it was so much fun!! And Maddie and the ponies did AMAZING!!!! I have never been to grassroutes before, but I will definitely be back. Was such a good day and can wonder around without all the crowds!

I was then back at Badminton on the Saturday for cross country day and MY BIRTHDAY!!! We had the most awesome time in the most awesome weather and with the most awesome people :) Then we got up the next day and did a 10am cocktail masterclass at Harvey Nichols in Bristol! If you love a tipple then definitely check it out, they run a few every month and there is no better way to spend a morning than sipping French 75s at 10am!!!

I then had a weekend of Dressage at Mendip Plains and was so nice to catch up with all the regulars and also see some new faces and meet some new ponies!

Andy kept the birthday celebrations going took me to PURO in Clevedon for a birthday treat and I can 10/10 recommend!!! We had the tasting menu and I had the wine paring and nothing was anything less than amazing!!!

The following week saw me at the wedding of the lovely Amber and Ollie at the beautiful St Tewdrics House in Chepstow. Despite the rain making an appearance, it was still absolutely stunning and such a lovely day. If you happen to be looking for a wedding venue, definitely check it out! (and also drop me a message to talk wedding photos!)

Having not been over the Severn bridge this year until this point, I was then back over it again on both the Saturday and Sunday when I went to David Brooms to cover the arena eventing and working hunter classes of the Welsh Pony & Cob Society.

And then, one of the most fun days of the month was going and meeting Meg and her ponies for their photoshoot! I was there over 4 hours and we did not stop laughing the whole time! It was a pretty eventful one and I might do a full write up for you guys next month (once I have processed all her piccis!

And I topped the month off with the first evening showjumping of the year at Mendip Plains! Which really makes it feel like summer when we can start competitions at 4.30 and have all the daylight still!!!

Look forward to seeing you through my lens soon xxx
